Monarch Pilates has been voted Best Pilates Studio in Santa Cruz, CA, for seven consecutive years. I designed their logo and developed their well-recognized brand, including building their website, creating email marketing and social media templates, print ads, and merchandise. The Monarch Pilates brand aesthetic is light and airy, reflecting the vibe in their sunny, plant-filled studio.

The logo combines two powerful symbols of movement found in the studio’s vibrant beach town: tones of blue water and waves contained within a monarch butterfly. The website is the primary hub of information for the business, with detailed content organized cleanly and supported by descriptive imagery. I led the entire web design process, first creating a site map and user journey to meet the needs of new and established clients, then building custom pages with brand-aligned colors and graphics. Design components are replicated across email, social, print marketing, and in-studio displays for a cohesive brand experience.
